What are you going to do?

As a Transportation Coordinator, you are the link between the customer on one hand and KLG's customer service department on the other. You are part of the KLG team, but work in our customer’s vibrant and bustling department. It is therefore important that you can work independently, but also ask timely and proactive questions and retrieve information from the right colleagues. Partly due to your strong communication skills, you will ensure that the planning of daily transports runs smoothly.

Duties:

• Daily communication with customer on status of shipments, focus on correct and timely loading process (with time window) from warehouse;
• Check and track urgent shipments daily;
• Coordinate AdHoc shipments;
• Provide the (end) customer with shipment status (on request);
• Monitor ETA, POD and ATA, manage escalation in case of discrepancies;
• Coordinate, support and control groupage shipments via daily SWOP (SBT) trailer;
• If necessary, add data for booking shipments;
• Create invoices for non-EU shipments and send for export declaration from the GTM system;
• Give picking and loading orders to the warehouse according to daily schedule;
• Track/log positive and negative events for the benefit of the MBR;
• Preparation and maintenance of daily reporting.

Your profile

• You have mbo (4) working and thinking level;
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar position is a plus;
• You have an affinity for the Chinese language, culture and traditions;
• You can communicate in Dutch and English (verbal and written), Chinese is an advantage;
• You are meticulous and accurate and work meticulously with customer records;
• You have an organizational ability and can keep a good overview;
• You have good communication skills and you easily establish contact with customers;
• You are proficient with Microsoft Office.
