Together with logistics employees, you ensure the correct and timely execution of work. As a team leader, you coordinate these operational activities, stimulate cooperation within the teams and ensure that deadlines and efficiency are achieved within the team. You have a good understanding of the logistical and operational processes to be able to support the team effectively. You report to the Shiftleader.
What will you do?
- Managing, instructing, motivating and managing a number of logistics employees in an operational sense;
- Ensuring efficient staffing and balanced division of labor in consultation with the Shift Leader;
- Supporting the Shiftleader by acting as a source of information and point of contact for a number of logistics employees,
- Ensuring that the procedures relating to quality are correctly observed;
- Reporting incidents to the Shiftleader and taking / setting out actions in consultation to improve safety;
- The shift leaders support in drawing up the work schedule and liaise with employment agencies
- Ensuring good cooperation and communication with other departments;
- Customer-oriented drafting (both internally and externally).

Your profile
- You have experience as a team leader in a warehouse environment;
- You have experience in guiding, coordinating and coaching warehouse employees;
- You have MBO working and thinking level;
- You have an organizational ability that allows you to plan and prioritize well to ensure that work is carried out smoothly;
- You have flexibility to take over tasks or help out where necessary;
- You have good communication skills in English language verbally and in writing. Dutch is an advantage;
- You have knowledge and experience working in WMS and/or TMS systems;
- You have basic knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel;
- You are stress-resistant, accurate, organized and systematic.
