Step inside the KLG Timemachine! In this special 100th vlog, we take you on a journey through time, from the very first vlog recorded seven years ago to this remarkable milestone moment. We begin in Venlo, where the timemachine opens with a throwback to old footage, our earliest locations, and vlog #1. In Eersel, we revisit the 50th vlog, compare “before & after” images of our new building, and share the fun fact that KLG now has four Dutch branches: Rotterdam, Venlo, Waalwijk and Eersel. Throughout the vlog, various fun facts appear, from our international footprint to our colleagues who together represent more than 20 nationalities. We also reveal which vlog is our most-watched one (#81!).

In this first vlog of 2026, we kick off the new year with energy, connection, and memorable moments at KLG! We start the year with smiles during our festive Tombola and take one last look back at the warm Christmas atmosphere that wrapped up 2025.

We also take you along to the Lean & Green Summit 2026, where Iris Willems and Philip Nijs represented KLG in our shared mission toward a more sustainable future. In addition, you’ll hear more about the “Most Attractive Employer” election, and we highlight a very special colleague: Ken Boothroyd, who is retiring after 42 years of dedicated service.

We continue with the introduction of our new strategy – ONE KLG – featuring inspiring footage that shows how we are shaping our future together. And of course, we follow Joost Routiers during his visit to the Routiers and wrap up with the renewed CoffeeTalk, giving 2026 a fresh and dynamic start.

In this vlog, we take you through a month filled with collaboration, talent, and innovation! We start behind the scenes at our photo and video shoots in Venlo & Eersel, showing how our content comes to life. We then head to Madrid for Huawei Connect 2025 and the Huawei European Partner Convention, where themes such as AI, smart infrastructure, and sustainable innovation took center stage.

Students from Gilde Opleidingen and Summa College also experienced the supply chain at KLG, from an escape room to guided tours throughout our operations. We celebrated Emergency Response Day and highlighted our safety heroes. And of course, Joost is back on the road for another visit to the Routiers!

We start with an inspiring visit from a Chilean delegation of DAF Trucks to KLG in Eersel, where we discuss the power of partnerships. Our HR & Recruitment teams were present at the Fontys Career Day in Venlo, where we shape the future of logistics together. We are proud to have earned our second Lean & Green Star, a recognition for our sustainable logistics. Joost is back on the road, and we take you to a PSV match with our clients for a mix of sports and partnership.

In this vlog, we take you through the highlights of September. We attended the eighth edition of Experience the Supply Chain in Supply Chain Valley Limburg, ran together for charity during the KLG Parelrun, and celebrated the launch of the Logistics Vocational School in Eersel. Welcome to a new episode of our monthly vlog! This time, we’re taking you from IT support in Venlo all the way to motorcycle transport through the Moroccan desert. We go behind the scenes with our IT department and Stijn ter Haar, follow an exciting motorbike project, and spend a day with the team in Bradford – including Free Lunch Friday and brand-new trucks. You'll also get a look at how we prepare for events (stroopwafel included), catch up during a CoffeeTalk with Roel and Walter, and talk to driver Sem Opheij in collaboration with Truckstar. And of course: Easter chocolate, Earth Day, awards, and – you guessed it – new job openings!

Spring has begun, and that means: more sunshine! In this vlog, you’ll see sunny moments on and off the road, energetic events, and inspiring projects at KLG.

We kick things off with Joost, enjoying the views while on the road. Our driver Rudi Renders also captured some beautiful shots. Next up, the aftermovie from the Venloop: around 200 colleagues and their families enjoyed a day filled with sunshine, fun, and togetherness. Everyone made it to the finish line and received a well-earned medal.

We also proudly received the Premium Award in the “Most Attractive Employer” competition! Our colleague Linsey van Leeuwen took the stage to share tips and experiences with other nominees.

Meanwhile in Romania, several exciting projects have kicked off. A podcast was recorded with colleagues, Marius Costache was honored as Customer Care Champion – applause well deserved! And Bogdan Ristea hosted an inspiring coaching session.

We also participated in the Peelland Truckrun. Along with our enthusiastic drivers, we gave people with disabilities an unforgettable day filled with joy.

New colleagues always receive a warm welcome at KLG Europe. Sanne van Aerts (HR Officer) shows how we make sure every first workday starts off right.

In this vlog, we take you behind the scenes at KLG Europe and celebrate some memorable moments together! Our trainee, Angelina Teunissen (Trainee Supply Chain), gives you a glimpse into one of her working days throughout the vlog. Meanwhile, our colleagues were in Dubai attending the WCA Conference, where we enjoyed some truly impressive days. We were also proud to once again be part of the “Most Attractive Employer 2025” competition, in which we earned the title of “Premium Partner.” A special thank you to everyone who voted for us! We also celebrated International Women’s Day: all women across our KLG locations received a lip balm as a token of appreciation. During the GM Days, we focused on working on our strategy. In addition, we celebrated some special anniversaries: both Mark and Renata marked 12.5 years of service at KLG! We also look ahead to the upcoming Venloop, where around 200 colleagues will be participating this year. Preparations are already underway. We wrap up this vlog with some fun bloopers!

The title of this vlog is ‘Tran(sport) through all kinds of weather’ and that's for a reason. In this vlog, you will see how our driver Joost is preparing for the storm that is approaching. Once he arrived in Dortmund, he also spent some time cheering on the Dutch football stars. You can also see our colleagues in Eersel, who are busy attaching solar panels to the roof of the trailer, and you will see another episode of Coffeetalk. Finally, we participated in a beach volleyball tournament and had a delicious barbecue in Venlo ( luckily, we were able to do this in the sun!).

This vlog shows some new developments within KLG. It starts with our colleagues Francis and Brenda. They are proud to tell you that we have been working hard on the new CRM system which has now been launched. You can also see that we have a new concept within KLG. Namely; Coffeetalk! Every vlog will feature one episode of Coffeetalk. This vlog we started by interviewing our interns. You will also see that our driver Joost is unloading at a special address in "Le Havre" and that we participated in the Dragon Boat Festival! We end the vlog with footage of the award of the title 'Most Attractive Employer of Limburg 2024'. We won this one! We would like to thank everyone HEARTly for voting.

In this vlog you will see how we show our commitment in donating chairs for Foundation Ancora and Foundation Ancaar, we transport them to Romania for no charge. You will also see that our colleagues Linsey and Gijs are present at the open evening of Summa College and we put our cycling colleagues in the spotlight on May 16. May 16 was namely; Bike to work day!
Finally, we had a surprising visit from CEVA; we introduce our new colleague Antoine; we see how Joost makes his ride this time through Arthal and Bordeaux and..... we wait in excitement whether we have won the election of “The Most Attractive Employer” again this year.

On 3 and 4 November, we literally opened the doors of our new premises in Eersel. Customers, business associates, local residents, students and jobseekers visited our facility and got a better idea of KLG and the world of logistics. The open day was a great success and ended with a super cool employee party. Furthermore, behind the scenes in this vlog you can see our HR brainstorming session and we load a very special cargo.

The branch in Eersel has something to cheer about in this vlog, as we have moved into our brand new modern building! It is a big step for KLG towards further growth and development. But we have several developments we are working on, such as data and a green way of transportation. For example, we are once again introducing you to the benefits of data during the Logistic Day Limburg and we are providing more information about the renewable diesel variant HVO100. But internally, we are also sharing information regarding sustainability and how everyone can do their bit to contribute to this. The Next Step is something we do together. During the annual partner event of Meet the Youngsters, we as KLG were once again awarded the title of Most Attractive Employer! We were proud to receive this award for the 3rd time. In this vlog more awards will be presented. During the Venloop, 200 KLG walkers received a medal during this annual event. Our truck driver is in France on the old Reims Gueux circuit and our news SHEQ manager is introduced. In Rotterdam, our intern Tiamo made a nice vlog about his internship and Linsey and Anouk are busy further digitizing our internal processes. In Romania we take a look behind the scenes at the recording of the podcast and in Venlo the finishing touches are being put on the renovated canteen. Curious about the end result? We are delighted with the logistics women at KLG. For them, logistics is really their cup of tea. Wednesday, March 8 was International Women`s day and we put all the women in the spotlight. For our drivers, no (French) bridge is too far. Joost shows us in this vlog some nice images of different bridges he encounters during his trip. In Waalwijk we have made a number of adjustments, to work even more safely. Next to that, we are also surprised by Meet the Youngsters and received a cake for being the frontrunner in the election Most Attractive Employer. The ballot boxes for the last round of the election Most Attractive Employer are open again. Will you help us keep this title?

Our drivers get everywhere, loading and unloading at various places in many different industries. Our driver Joost shows us a very special unloading address this week. Something you would not expect. The construction of the new building in Eersel is starting to take shape and the colleagues are looking forward to the move. As a foretaste, the colleagues get a tour at the construction site.

Working together and sharing information is the basis of knowledge sharing. Through our new initiative the "KLG Knowledge Café," we take colleagues through different business cases. With a presentation, they get a picture of the work in which they themselves are not always closely involved but which are interesting and instructive. Team building with colleagues but also contact and maintenance with parties in our own network is important for the success of our organization.

The first vlog of 2023 is a fact. This makes it the first of 12 new exciting vlogs this year that will give you a look behind the scenes at KLG. Last year the first shovel went into the ground in Eersel and now we reached the highest point of the new construction.

Youth has the future and the logistics profession is often instilled in children from an early age. This is also with our youngest vlogger, as he is on his own driver's clogs on the road in France together with his father Joost. At KLG we have once again won prizes, for example, we recently handed out World Cup pool prizes to our sporty soccer fans. But also the prize question was answered correctly by a colleague in Rotterdam, namely; THE NEW WORKING AT KLG WEBSITE! And a new employee of the month is awarded at KLG Romania.

The ballot boxes for the election of the Most Attractive Employer are about to open and that means that we as KLG will once again compete for this coveted title! Mirror, mirror on the truck who is the prettiest in truck land? That is our new DAF XG+'s! Striking in our new trucks are the mirrors, or we can better say the cameras that have taken over the place of the mirrors. You can see how that works and what the advantages of those cameras are in this vlog. Our drivers are not only happy with their new DAF XG+ but were also put in the spotlight during Driver's Day. For them this day we rolled out the blue carpet and hung up the balloons because without our drivers our required goods do not reach their destination. Apart from drivers, there are perhaps 100 other logistics jobs in logistics. To inform and enthuse young people about this, we are closely involved in initiatives that contribute to this. This month we were in Venlo and The Hague to share our passion for logistics. After Saint Nicholas it is almost time for Christmas and the preparations are in full swing. Moments are to be cherished. We certainly do, but we also cherish our KLG-ers! We capture important moments, like to pay some extra attention to milestones and dwell on different moments. It always bubbles in our DNA that standing still is going backwards, but cherishing and putting them "in the spotlight" is our tradition. For example, every year we put those who contribute by being ER officers in the spotlight. We also put our new acquisitions the DAF XG+ in the spotlight! During a course, Joost proudly shows us the new features of this DAF showpiece and gives us a tour of his new workplace. And Charlotte puts the strap machine in Waalwijk "in the spotlight".

The first 50 new DAF XG+ trucks for KLG will be delivered in the coming period. During the annual drivers' meeting, the keys to the first new truck were handed over. Our loyal employees are central to us and as a token of appreciation we handed over the keys of this very first new truck to the driver who has been employed with us for the longest. In Waalwijk, we see the new wall decoration which once again emphasizes the strong partnerships with our customers. Cooperation is also important in engaging new students to the logistics sector. Continuing the digital part of " Experience the Supply Chain," it was now time for the physical part and we showed the students logistics in practice. Safety comes first for us and so we regularly organize Emergency Response training sessions. This time at the Waalwijk and Venlo branches. Besides maintaining a safe working environment, we are rapidly building the new working environment in Eersel. Construction is progressing well. Working together, sharing knowledge and inspiring each other. These are the underlining competencies we consider important in our organization. This is how we fuel the entrepreneurship of every employee. Within a supply chain, these three topics cannot be ignored in order to optimize the entire flow. An optimal flow in which interest, risk and space are kept to a minimum. Proper coordination in this chain ensures a fast delivery time for you as consumers. This is the supply chain from sand to customer. But working together, sharing knowledge and inspiring each other within the supply chain from student and job seeker to our colleague is just as important! Without our people we cannot offer our customers our services. Our people are the engine of our organization. So, to introduce everyone to KLG and our beautiful sector we try to inspire as wide a reach as possible. This time through banners at the plot of the new building in Eersel, a digital seminar and a meet & greet with students and job seekers and through various other updates form our organization.

Learning, teaching and sharing are important elements of our stable foundation that has been there for more than 100 years. We have highlighted these topics in our previous vlogs. These elements are at the heart of our organization and that is “team”. The team behind KLG that makes KLG the organization as it is today. Every KLG-er contributes and together we achieve just that little bit more every day. Knowledge and skills are important for a stable basis and for delivering quality. In addition, long-term relationships are a focus that fits in seamlessly. We value long-term relationships with our customers, suppliers, partners and also our employees. All these facets were put in the spotlight at our Open Company Day. With the focus on the long-term and on the future, a new building is under construction for our branch in Eersel. The attention for this was also drawn by the local newspaper, Eindhovens Dagblad. In this vlog we give a tour of the building site and share the status of the construction. Together we are building our future, so we are pleased to give you the opportunity for “glimping behind our scenes”.

The youth not only have the future, but we can also learn a lot from them. At KLG, we alternate training the employee of the future with learning from the employee of the future. You can see how we do that in this vlog. You see how our graduation students present their findings and conclusions of their researches. We are making a vlog in collaboration with various other logistics companies to bring our industry to the attention of students during Experience the Supply Chain. In addition, we are awarding the “KLG Kanjer” to the intern who excelled last period and we are welcoming a group of high school students for their first introduction to logistics. From Waalwijk we give more information about an AGV and in Romania the first podcast has recently gone online. With all these initiatives, we as a team are preparing ourselves for the future. We are teaching the younger generation and learning ourself for the future.

Our drivers come everywhere. Colleague Joost starts the week between the cows and ends the week in the football stadium for an 'I'm going to be a driver' introductory evening. He is there together with our colleagues from HR to provide information about the profession as a driver, but also to explain why it is so much fun to be a driver at KLG. Yvonne is also on the road a lot in this vlog, she attended at the Top 100 logistics event and at the opening of the Supply Chain Development Center. Reaching the finishing line and celebrating successes is the connecting thread in this vlog. We participated with 175 colleagues in the walking event, the Venloop. A day full of fun and atmosphere! Together, we colored the entire center of Venlo KLG blue. A few days later, we won the title of Most Attractive Employer at our own location in Venlo, an event organized by Meet the Youngsters! At KLG, colleagues make the difference! We therefore believe it is important to show this both internally and externally in various ways. In Romania, we started to reward our colleagues for their efforts and involvement by means of the "customer pilar". Sharing knowledge is important for the quality of our services. We show you what EDI entails and Astre opened their doors to us to teach our colleagues all the ins and outs of the French distribution network.

Building for the future is something we do every day at KLG. We have recently started the construction work for the future. We have been looking forward to this moment for quite a time, but now the moment has finally arrived! We have started with the new construction in Eersel. We are also showing our new branch in Waalwijk, where we are in the middle of the renovation and yet manage to run the entire operation. Together with our team we are building the future, so there must also be time for team building. On Saturday, May 14, the annual walking event in Venlo (the Venloop) is taking place, in which we will participate together with 170 colleagues. Preparations are already in full swing. We are very involved in developments of the younger generation. We like to be involved in enthusing and promoting our sector to the young ones, students and education institutions. We have recently recorded a testimonial for the Fontys educational institute and made the acquaintance of several students in a soccer stadium. This effort in this field is more than rewarded! Because we have become the Best Training Company in our logistics sector! So, together we build the future & we train the future!

This vlog is all about "stars" and celebrating these moments. The KLG women are our first standouts in this vlog. Logistics has long ceased to be a male-only industry. We show this once again when celebrating International Womens Day! Our students and interns are also indispensable. Every semester, we award the “KLG Kanjer” to the outstanding interns. Our vlog star Joost talks about why he is a driver and what the advantages are of being a driver at KLG. We are also busy making all kinds of videos. A new internship period has started and that means that 12 new interns have already started in Venlo. We have welcomed a student in almost all departments within KLG and the experienced colleagues within KLG will continue to train and supervise the students. We are also closely involved in various teaching programs at the Fontys. Chiem gives an online training and Fontys films this in order to involve the business community even more in setting up the most optimal and appropriate teaching materials that match the practice. The 50th vlog! What a milestone and what a team work! In 50 vlogs we let our followers watch the daily ins and outs of KLG. Following the latest developments in the market is important. For example, we also monitor the developments around the Ever Given, so that our customers will be proactively informed. Safety is always our top priority. Joost will show you how we ensure that our customers’ shipments are transported without damage and with minimal risk to overall safety. We have been nominated for the title: The Best Training Company. For this purpose, our students and the KLG supervisors have made a nice video in which they explain why we are the best training company! It will remain exiting for a while, because we will receive the results at the end of May! Meanwhile, our Sales colleagues are on their tour for the May visits. We find it a moment to highlight our personal contact and thanking them for their trust in us. We buy fresh asparagus locally, which is part of this tradition. In the previous vlog we showed our obtained certificates. But how do we achieve and maintain them? In this vlog we show some of our security measures. We are loading and unloading at the French border of Geneva and we maintain a tight delivery schedule. In the meantime, it is time for photos in Venlo. Photos are taken for the Most Attractive Employer campaign and during the shoot we took "Most Attractive" just a little bit more seriously and with a wink! Innovations and keeping up with the dynamic world of logistics are elements of the core of our organization. Such as the growth of our organization, the product Simplify (e-fulfillment) and new innovative ideas and stars. We invest in this and would therefore like to put the initiators in the spotlight. We do this through the SILL challenge cup for social innovative ideas and we put our top trainee in the spotlight with the ‘KLG Kanjer’ nomination. Growth is part of our organization and therefore also part of our joint venture; NSWL. The team expanded last year to prepare for the future. The colleagues from the garage in Eersel ensure that our drivers can drive safely, and maintenance of our fleet is also part of this. Many different facets of our organization, but one thing is certain. We do this together and together we are better!

In this first vlog of the new year, we look back on the past year, a turbulent year. By working together and putting our shoulders to the wheel, we have been able to achieve a lot despite all corona measures and we have managed to maintain our services at a high-quality level. With this spirit we also look to the new year. Despite all the challenges we will make this year a good year together. In the meantime, our drivers encounter the first winter conditions during these months. In addition to the beautiful pictures, this also gives extra responsibilities. Good division of the load is important for safety on the road. The ballot boxes have been opened again for the election: Most Attractive Employer. “Safety is paramount” is the title of this vlog, and for a good reason! Apart from an emergency response training on location, a number of drivers went to an anti slipping course in order to be even safer on the road. Our crossdock locations in the Netherlands are used for transshipment of our shipments. In this vlog Linda filmed the crossdock in Eersel during an entire weekend which shows you that a crossdock is continuously in motion. We also get a short tour within the crossdock in Venlo. Finally, it is almost Christmas and we always use the weeks upfront of the holidays to thank our customers for the trust in KLG and to look back on last year’s pleasant cooperation. Aimé is one of our sales colleagues who is on his way to our customers to express our appreciation and to deliver a Christmas present.
