Assistant Transportplanner

There is also the opportunity to grow into the role of Transport Coordinator.

What are you going to do?

• Enter transport orders into the Transport Management System (TMS).
• Prepare loading instructions and send them to various carriers.
• Print transport documents and confirm packing lists.
• Process digital transport files for invoicing purposes.
• Investigate and, where possible, resolve irregularities such as shortages and Proof of Delivery (POD) issues.
• Maintain contact with our national and international logistics partners.
• Perform additional administrative and operational tasks that contribute to the smooth running of the department.

Your profile

• You have an MBO of working and thinking (or an equivalent vocational qualification).
• You have at least 3 years of work experience.
• You have an affinity with transport and logistics.
• If you are motivated to invest in your future and eager to learn the profession from our experienced colleagues, we will provide you with comprehensive training through our KLG Academy.
• Experience in a similar position within the logistics sector is a strong advantage.
• You have a good command of both Dutch and English, spoken and written.
• You are administratively strong, accurate, and pay close attention to detail when working with customer data.
• You possess excellent communication skills and build relationships easily with customers and transport partners.
• You perform well in a fast-paced environment, remain calm under pressure, and are willing to go the extra mile.
