As a Shiftleader Quality, you play a crucial role in ensuring process and product quality and operational continuity. You are the connecting link between the daily operation and continuous improvement of our warehouse processes.
You provide operational management to the Quality Operators and report directly to the Quality Manager. With your keen eye on quality, you ensure that processes are carried out correctly and are continuously improved.
You are an important ambassador of our quality policy and you actively contribute to a safe, structured and customer-oriented working environment.
In Waalwijk, we exclusively serve one customer with a team of approximately 80-100 dedicated employees in a warehouse environment of approximately 20,000 square meters. We strive to maintain the highest standards of efficiency and customer satisfaction.
What are you going to do?
- Monitoring quality and compliance with guidelines during the shift;
- Identifying risks, deviations and areas for improvement;
- Reporting quality issues and initiating follow-up;
- Identifying deviations from the set standards;
- Operationally managing, coaching and motivating Quality Operators;
- Leading the shift start with a focus on quality, safety and improvement potential;
- Performing checks on warehouse processes and intervening where necessary;
- Contributing to process improvements and optimizations;
- Drawing up and following up on quality reports and improvement actions;

Your profile
- You have an MBO/HBO working and thinking level;
- You have demonstrable managerial experience in a logistics environment with a particular focus on quality;
- You are willing to lead your team in a 2-team system during the peak season;
- You have strong leadership skills with empathy to motivate and guide a team;
- You have the ability to respond quickly and effectively to operational challenges and obstacles, have problem-solving skills and customer-oriented thinking;
- You have a strong quality awareness ability and an eye for detail;
- You have organizational skills to plan and coordinate warehouse operations and processes;
- You have good oral and written English language skills to be able to consult effectively with employees, management and other departments (working language at this location is English).
