KLG VLOG #91 - ''FROM DESK TO DESERT''

Welcome to a new episode of our monthly vlog! This time, we’re taking you from IT support in Venlo all the way to motorcycle transport through the Moroccan desert. We go behind the scenes with our IT department and Stijn ter Haar, follow an exciting motorbike project, and spend a day with the team in Bradford – including Free Lunch Friday and brand-new trucks. You'll also get a look at how we prepare for events (stroopwafel included), catch up during a CoffeeTalk with Roel and Walter, and talk to driver Sem Opheij in collaboration with Truckstar. And of course: Easter chocolate, Earth Day, awards, and – you guessed it – new job openings!

KLG VLOG #90 – "MOVING" MOMENTS

Spring has begun, and that means: more sunshine! In this vlog, you’ll see sunny moments on and off the road, energetic events, and inspiring projects at KLG.

We kick things off with Joost, enjoying the views while on the road. Our driver Rudi Renders also captured some beautiful shots. Next up, the aftermovie from the Venloop: around 200 colleagues and their families enjoyed a day filled with sunshine, fun, and togetherness. Everyone made it to the finish line and received a well-earned medal.

We also proudly received the Premium Award in the “Most Attractive Employer” competition! Our colleague Linsey van Leeuwen took the stage to share tips and experiences with other nominees.

Meanwhile in Romania, several exciting projects have kicked off. A podcast was recorded with colleagues, Marius Costache was honored as Customer Care Champion – applause well deserved! And Bogdan Ristea hosted an inspiring coaching session.

We also participated in the Peelland Truckrun. Along with our enthusiastic drivers, we gave people with disabilities an unforgettable day filled with joy.

KLG VLOG #89 - FROM THESIS TO TEAMSPIRIT

In this vlog, we take you behind the scenes at KLG Europe and celebrate some memorable moments together! Our trainee, Angelina Teunissen (Trainee Supply Chain), gives you a glimpse into one of her working days throughout the vlog. Meanwhile, our colleagues were in Dubai attending the WCA Conference, where we enjoyed some truly impressive days. We were also proud to once again be part of the “Most Attractive Employer 2025” competition, in which we earned the title of “Premium Partner.” A special thank you to everyone who voted for us! We also celebrated International Women’s Day: all women across our KLG locations received a lip balm as a token of appreciation. During the GM Days, we focused on working on our strategy. In addition, we celebrated some special anniversaries: both Mark and Renata marked 12.5 years of service at KLG! We also look ahead to the upcoming Venloop, where around 200 colleagues will be participating this year. Preparations are already underway. We wrap up this vlog with some fun bloopers!

KLG VLOG #88 - TEAM SPIRIT AT KLG EUROPE

In this vlog, you’ll see how our proud drivers, Iwan and Joost, showcase the interior of the new combi. Iwan has put in a lot of effort to make it a cozy “little home.”
You’ll also hear them talk about snow chains. Did you know that it is now mandatory to carry snow chains in the mountain regions of France?
On top of that, we have some exciting news: we have been awarded Premium Partner status in the Most Attractive Employer competition! In this vlog, you’ll also see how we celebrated this achievement together with Meet the Youngsters.
Additionally, you’ll see how our vlog star Joost is rewarded with a GoPro from KLG, and we’ll show you footage from our visitors from Romania.

KLG VLOG #87 - A SAFE START OF 2025

In this vlog, we look back on a wonderful end-of-year celebration with all our colleagues and see stunning photos of the KLG trucks taken by our drivers on the road.

We also cover several safety-related topics in this vlog. For instance, we see how a first aid training course is conducted in Romania, and Joost explains the safety check of his truck and the safety equipment he carries with him on the road.

Our campaign in collaboration with Qmusic Limburg, titled “Spot the trailer and win!” as well as the NK Cross, are also featured.

KLG VLOG #86 - A YEAR TO REMEMBER

In this vlog, you’ll see our colleagues Angela and Paul giving a presentation about blind spots at the Talisman primary school in Eindhoven. You’ll also see how we celebrated our truck drivers again this year during the “Truck Driver Appreciation Day.” They received a super cool KLG keychain. KLG VLOG #85 - SHARING KLG'S KNOWLEDGE

In this vlog, you’ll see our colleagues Iris Willems and Akram Zaidi attending the CSRD Experience Day (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive). They explore various business cases related to CSRD, and Akram will also share more about the KLG business case.

Additionally, you’ll see our colleague Sanne sitting down with Sharif for a new episode of Coffeetalk, and our Romanian colleague Cristina Radu, who has been named Transport Woman of 2024!

KLG VLOG #84 - A LOOK UNDER OUR HOOD

In our latest vlog, we introduce two new colleagues: Angela and Jenny. You will also see Joost working on the truck with his son, Thomas. There is a special moment as well to celebrate being named the Most Attractive Employer of 2024, with an ice cream truck arranged by Orange Blend stopping by our location.

Next, you will catch our HR colleagues at the Fontys Career Day at the Klokgebouw in Eindhoven, where they are recruiting students for new opportunities at KLG Europe. Joost takes you on a journey through Paris, showing his truck loading and unloading. His truck also gets an inspection at KLG Eersel, and we take a look under the hood.

In this vlog, we also have a new episode of Coffeetalk, featuring our colleague Carole, our Operations Management Assistant. The vlog wraps up with photos from KLG Eersel’s canoe trip, where we are left wondering if our colleague Michael will stay dry...

KLG VLOG #83 - TOGETHER ON THE ROAD

This vlog shows footage of various events we participated in. You will see footage of the Truckrun, the Parelrun that was organised for the 7th time in Eersel this year and you will see our colleagues Linsey, Dominique and Sjoerd participating in yet another edition of Experience the Supply Chain. You will also see a new episode of Coffeetalk, in which we briefly discuss the position of our colleague Sjoerd, who is Operational Excellence Engineer and you will see our driver Joost explaining the new XG+ combis. This time, Joost is not on the road alone, but together with his son Thomas, who has a hidden talent... namely vlogging!

KLG VLOG #82 - LOOKING BACK AND FORWARD

In this vlog you see how our colleague Leon gives an explanation about the cameras of our trucks showing exactly how they work. You can also see the video about "studying in Venlo". Students get the opportunity to connect with the working field during the annual career event. Our colleagues from KLG also attended this event. Two colleagues were also named the KLG Kanjers and you can see how our Marketing colleagues are busy creating a content calendar from our monthly vlog. Finally, you can see the aftermovie of the awarding to Most Attractive Employer and the aftermovie of Supply Chain Valley.

KLG VLOG #81 - TRAN(SPORT) THROUGH ALL KINDS OF WEATHER

The title of this vlog is ‘Tran(sport) through all kinds of weather’ and that's for a reason. In this vlog, you will see how our driver Joost is preparing for the storm that is approaching. Once he arrived in Dortmund, he also spent some time cheering on the Dutch football stars. You can also see our colleagues in Eersel, who are busy attaching solar panels to the roof of the trailer, and you will see another episode of Coffeetalk. Finally, we participated in a beach volleyball tournament and had a delicious barbecue in Venlo ( luckily, we were able to do this in the sun!).

KLG VLOG #80 - PROUD DEVELOPMENTS

This vlog shows some new developments within KLG. It starts with our colleagues Francis and Brenda. They are proud to tell you that we have been working hard on the new CRM system which has now been launched. You can also see that we have a new concept within KLG. Namely; Coffeetalk! Every vlog will feature one episode of Coffeetalk. This vlog we started by interviewing our interns. You will also see that our driver Joost is unloading at a special address in "Le Havre" and that we participated in the Dragon Boat Festival! We end the vlog with footage of the award of the title 'Most Attractive Employer of Limburg 2024'. We won this one! We would like to thank everyone HEARTly for voting.

KLG VLOG #79 - TO BE INVOLVED

In this vlog you will see how we show our commitment in donating chairs for Foundation Ancora and Foundation Ancaar, we transport them to Romania for no charge. You will also see that our colleagues Linsey and Gijs are present at the open evening of Summa College and we put our cycling colleagues in the spotlight on May 16. May 16 was namely; Bike to work day!
Finally, we had a surprising visit from CEVA; we introduce our new colleague Antoine; we see how Joost makes his ride this time through Arthal and Bordeaux and..... we wait in excitement whether we have won the election of “The Most Attractive Employer” again this year.

KLG VLOG #78 - HAPPY EVENTS

In this vlog, you will see our international driver Joost visiting the winery. This time not from sun-drenched France, but from Germany.
In Romania they recently opened their own gym and are celebrating a colleague's 15 year anniversary.
You can also see that Meet the Youngsters joined us to celebrate our advancement to the finals of the election Most Attractive Employer!

KLG VLOG #77 - HEART WORKING AT KLG

In this vlog, you can see how we love working at KLG.
This time, Joost, our international driver has taken his little son to the sawmill where they are loading. You can also see that several colleagues went to Dubai for the WCA air and sea freight fair. They have worked hard but at the same time had a lot of fun.
International Womensday we celebrated at KLG and in addition, we have been busy preparing for the Venloop.

This vlog shows how our driver Joost takes a drive through France, on his way to different customers. It also shows how Joost gets caught up in the farmers' strikes and how we as KLG deal with it.

KLG VLOG #74 - CHEERS TO THE MEMORIES

At the end of the year and in the last vlog of this year, we want to toast to great memories with you. So we look back at all the highlights of last year. Not only do we look back in this vlog, we also build on the future by looking ahead to the future. In this, we as KLG find it very important to further train our colleagues and invest in safety and the new generation. So you see the follow-up course for our Emergency Response Officers, the presentation of the Excel certificates and the third and final part of Experience the Supply Chain. KLG VLOG #73 - WE ARE OPENING DOORS

At KLG Europe, we open our doors to inform, invest, grow and develop. Every vlog we let our followers take a look behind our scenes.
On 3 and 4 November, we literally opened the doors of our new premises in Eersel. Customers, business associates, local residents, students and jobseekers visited our facility and got a better idea of KLG and the world of logistics. The open day was a great success and ended with a super cool employee party. Furthermore, behind the scenes in this vlog you can see our HR brainstorming session and we load a very special cargo.

Participation and involvement is important to us at KLG Europe. This vlog shows how we are and get involved and take part in different activities. We believe it is important to learn from each other. Social commitment is very important to KLG Europe. As an organization we find it important to think for the people of today and the world of tomorrow. For example, we are the main sponsor of the Pearl Run, sponsor in soccer, participate in the truck run and are a pioneer in Experience the Supply Chain. So we are socially involved through sports and transport.

With our vlogs we would like to share information about KLG's developments and what it is like to work at KLG. We have a large team of colleagues with different jobs who all contribute to our vision of "Being the Logistics Partner for our customers". This ensures that we are constantly developing and never standing still. That is a good thing! Because we do not like to stand still... Innovation and renewal are important elements for us. The branch in Eersel has something to cheer about in this vlog, as we have moved into our brand new modern building! It is a big step for KLG towards further growth and development. But we have several developments we are working on, such as data and a green way of transportation. For example, we are once again introducing you to the benefits of data during the Logistic Day Limburg and we are providing more information about the renewable diesel variant HVO100. But internally, we are also sharing information regarding sustainability and how everyone can do their bit to contribute to this. The Next Step is something we do together. There is also plenty to see at the Waalwijk site regarding innovation and how about the developments in Eersel? There they have started the final stages of the new building. By learning you keep developing yourself. This month we named the KLG champ (KLG kanjer) among the trainees of this semester and we show you that also the KLG academy is almost finished.
