To strengthen our team, we are looking for a driven Cybersecurity Engineer who will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and continuously improving our security measures.

As a Cybersecurity Engineer at KLG Europe, you are key to safeguarding our digital assets. You play a crucial role in developing, implementing, and managing security measures for networks and IT systems. You work closely with other IT teams and management to prevent security incidents, identify vulnerabilities, and strengthen the overall security

What are you going to do?

  • Design and implement security measures for networks and IT systems;
  • Configure and manage network security solutions such as firewalls and antivirus software;
  • Apply security patches to systems and software to resolve vulnerabilities;
  • Continuously monitor systems, networks, and applications to detect suspicious activity;
  • Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses;
  • Implement backup and recovery solutions to protect data against loss;
  • Ensure compliance with privacy legislation such as GDPR and other relevant regulations;
  • Document security measures and prepare reports for compliance audits;
  • Proactively improve the security infrastructure and contribute to security strategy and policy development;
  • Organize security awareness programs and training sessions for employees.

Your profile

  • A completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT Security, Cybersecurity, or a related field;
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar cybersecurity role;
  • Experience with network security solutions such as firewalls, antivirus software, and SIEM systems;
  • Knowledge of security standards such as ISO 27001, NIS2, and legislation including GDPR;
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to quickly and effectively identify and address security incidents;
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to clearly explain technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
