"All our internal systems talk to each other and can also be linked to those of partners and clients via EDI. This requires ever bigger, better and nicer IT solutions. The fact that we get to provide these makes the profession challenging and very enjoyable. For example, we are currently working on a migration of our EDI software. But we are also working on other projects such as "automatic testing," which is going to help us ensure the quality of the EDI links. We are building tools for the end users, which will help them increase their self-reliance. Robots with AI are deployed where there is no real EDI available and a need to fall back on emails with PDF documents and the like. Good logistics is increasingly dependent on good IT. Good IT people now and in the future will therefore always find a place at KLG Europe.
KLG Europe is really a company where you feel at home and part of the team, familiar is the right word. It is not yet huge, but it is growing fast. This demands more and more from IT solutions. As a result, we play an increasing role in the company. I like the fact that sometimes we can make a difference. We can give just that little bit extra. When the director gives a speech at Christmas, I hear again that IT is going to make more and more of a difference within logistics. These fine words I gladly live up to!"
