“After I had an internship of 2 days a week at KLG, I was offered a graduation internship at KLG”
Bob van de Kerkhof,
Intern supply chain

Bob van de Kerkhof, 24 years old, supply chain intern, 4th year student Logistics Management at Fontys University of Applied Sciences in Venlo
After I had an internship of 2 days a week at KLG, I was offered a graduation internship at KLG. I have accepted this and will therefore be graduating here. Being part of KLG still pleases me. I currently have a number of follow-up days to map out the processes in the planning department. Due to this, I will get busier. On Wednesday and Friday afternoons my workplace is at the supply chain department and the rest of the week at the sales department. I really like both departments and the variety between them. I am having a good time, the colleagues are nice, and there is a pleasant working atmosphere.
In the coming months I will look at whether the productivity of the people in the planning department can be increased. So that the output of the number of shipments can also increase. I do not have any large internships within my study program. From the second year onwards, we have had to choose a company every semester and do a research for it. With us, the internship is only research-oriented, so I will also work on my research until June.
