You will be responsible for all regular warehouse activities, including Inbound, Putaway, Storage, Replenishment, and Shipping, as well as Value Added Services (VAS) such as assembly, packaging, labeling, and quality control. For our Waalwijk location, we are looking for a manager who is capable of building and developing their own team, aligned with both customer expectations and the KLG organization. Naturally, this will be done in close cooperation with the Site Manager and HR Manager. The focus is on building strong teams: - That are willing to temporarily transition to a two-shift system during periods of significantly changing quarterly volumes (approximately 3 to 4 weeks at the end of each quarter), while working regular day shifts during the remainder of the year; - With strong, flexible, proactive team leaders who actively contribute to operations during day shifts and provide leadership within the two-shift operation; - That strive for the highest quality standards through a zero-defects and first-time-right approach; - That understand the day is not finished while there is still a backlog to be completed.

What are you going to do?

Team Management: Build, lead, coach, and develop a team of team leaders and administrative staff, while providing overall leadership to the entire operation.
Processes & Inventory Management: Manage the receiving, storage, and shipping of goods, including monitoring inventory levels and optimizing warehouse space utilization.
Process Optimization: Develop and implement efficient warehouse processes and procedures to improve operational efficiency.
Safety & Compliance: Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and applicable legislation to maintain a safe working environment.
Logistics & Distribution: Coordinate all logistics activities, including inbound and outbound goods flows.
Value-Added Services: Manage additional services such as assembly, packaging, labeling, and quality control to add value to customer products.

Your profile

You have completed a relevant bachelor's degree, such as Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field;
You have proven management experience in a warehouse and value-added services environment, or in a comparable leadership role within a high-tech environment;
You are willing to lead your team in a two-shift operation during peak periods;
You possess strong leadership skills combined with empathy and the ability to motivate and guide a team;
You can respond quickly and effectively to operational challenges and obstacles, with strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset;
You have strong organizational skills for planning and coordinating warehouse activities and processes;
You have excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Dutch and English, enabling effective communication with employees, management, and other departments (English is the primary working language at this location).
