As a Project Manager, you will play an important role in this journey. You will work on projects that have a direct impact on our logistics operations and contribute to the further professionalization of our processes.

In this role, you combine strategic insight with a hands-on mentality. You dive into processes yourself, engage with colleagues on the work floor, and translate insights into concrete improvements. You act as the connecting link between different departments and ensure that projects are not only designed but also successfully implemented.

What are you going to do?

• Lead and actively participate in improvement and optimization projects within KLG Venlo;
• Develop and manage project plans, including scope, budget, risk analysis, planning, and resource allocation;
• Monitor project progress and quality and report to the Supply Chain Manager;
• Actively contribute to change management and ensure effective communication, alignment, and information transfer between various internal and external stakeholders;
• Drive the implementation of digitalization within existing work processes and workflows.

Your profile

• Bachelor’s degree level of working and thinking (HBO), preferably with a completed degree in (Technical) Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field;
• At least 5 years of experience in project management. Experience in the logistics sector is an advantage;
• A proactive self-starter who takes ownership and does not wait for others to act;
• Comfortable diving into processes independently and gaining a thorough understanding of operations;
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or Agile methodologies is a plus;
• Able to switch effectively between coordinating and hands-on operational tasks;
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to critically assess business processes and think conceptually;
• A strong sense of responsibility and the drive to help take the organization to the next level.
