As a Digital Automation Engineer, you are responsible for ensuring the correct functioning and effective use of automation solutions within KLG’s business processes. You work closely with the IT department, Supply Chain, and key users to provide optimal process support through technology. In addition, you provide second- and third-line support and actively contribute to the further digitalization and innovation of our organization, with a particular focus on AI-driven automation solutions. You will be part of the IT department, report to the Team Leader Business Applications, and also participate in KLG’s AI project group.

What are you going to do?

• Manage, optimize, and monitor automations and applications within KLG’s business processes;
• Develop and implement process-oriented digital solutions in collaboration with IT, Supply Chain, key users, and vendors;
• Provide second- and third-line support and ensure sustainable solutions and knowledge sharing;
• Promote standardization and the correct and secure use of automations, applications, and data;
• Prepare reports, documentation, and information services;
• Identify opportunities, innovations (including AI), risks, and coordinate automation and improvement projects.

Your profile

• Bachelor’s degree level of working and thinking (HBO), preferably in IT, Business IT & Management, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field;
• Experience with automation solutions, applications, and process-oriented work;
• Affinity with digitalization, data, and innovative AI-related solutions;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Accurate, results-oriented, and aware of IT and data-related risks;
• Strong communication skills, customer-focused mindset, and the confidence to act decisively;
• Flexible, entrepreneurial, and comfortable working with multiple disciplines and stakeholders;
• Good command of both Dutch and English, spoken and written.
