INTERNSHIP AT KLG EUROPE: THE NEXT GENERATION
KLG Europe is a major international player in the logistics industry. We like to take responsibility for training the younger generation, the young ones, and making them enthusiastic about our profession.
Thus, we offer many internship opportunities every semester, for college and university students from various educational institutions. Whether you are looking for a cooperative internship, graduate internship, an internship assignment, an interesting project or a BBL apprenticeship, it is all possible at KLG. All interns have added value for KLG, which is why we are happy to put a lot of time and energy into proper preparation and supervision.
Being a logistics service provider does not mean that you can only come to KLG with a logistics education. We are a recognized training company for various courses and the most attractive employer and offer internship and graduation positions in several departments, such as sales, customer service, IT, business development and so on. So if you are studying junior account manager, international trade, ICT administrator or business economics, for example, we would love to share our passion for logistics with you!
The logistics industry is very dynamic and challenging and in addition KLG Europe has a huge growth ambition. A good and unique combination. This means that we can often offer driven trainees an entry-level job. After all, we can always use good people!
On your first internship day you will be well welcomed, we don't differentiate between intern and new employees, and we have set up an introduction program for you. You will then be given a tour of our entire facility and introduced to all of your colleagues. Also, you may attend the Welcome to KLG! presentation and get to know other colleagues from other branches. This will give you a good start to your internship. We find it important that you receive good guidance during your internship. You will be assigned an internship supervisor and a buddy. Together they will ensure that you receive all the information you need, they will familiarize you with the organization and make sure you are familiar with it. Our experienced colleagues will help you gain knowledge and experience and coach you to broaden your competencies and skills.
Also, we believe it is important that training is as close as possible to practice. We therefore work closely with many different educational institutions. Take for example the course 'Manager Transport and Logistics' of the Gilde Opleidingen in Venlo. We help design this course, provide feedback on the various learning and teaching modules, organize assignments, give guest lectures, open our company for tours and are always present at open days. But we are also involved in other Gilde courses. We also cooperate with Fontys University of Applied Sciences, Summa College, Zuyd University of Applied Sciences, Maastricht University (UM) and the Shipping and Transport College in Rotterdam (STC). This way we can transfer our practical knowledge and contribute our bit to the Next Generation!
